Method
I teach dogs to follow directions and leadership by using a progressive communication system that is natural for them to understand. This results in a canine mind that is calm, able to focus and learn.
My teaching methods for skills and behaviors is based on innate canine drives and instincts with consideration to the dog's individual dog's temperament, tendencies, and motivations.
By using what is considered rewarding for the dog (every dog is different), the dog learns boundaries, trust, expectations, and reliability.
I am a balanced trainer that takes a holistic approach to training dogs. I use the least intrusive, minimally aversive (LIMA) approach. Teaching methods focus on the use of rewards, and I am trained and experienced in, and support, the humane use of all tools needed as necessary and appropriate for the safety and long term effectiveness of the training.

I specialize in dog socialization, rescue rehabilitation, advanced off-leash obedience, and public access training.
I provide fundamental training, canine sport training, aggression protocol programs and behavior modification.
I work with all ages, training backgrounds and breeds, especially working dog breeds.
I began training professionally under my first apprenticeship in 2011. My personal training experience goes back to 2007.
My Goal
"To improve quality of life for dog and owner alike to enjoy living life together through training plans that are realistic and achievable, and are the most humane approach to the dog's overall mental and physical well-being in the short and long term. My programs aim to produce finished dogs that are resilient, trusting, and reliable in whatever situation life gives them."
